Hey everyone! Sorry about not being active recently, there's  been a lot going on. I got accepted into Joliet Junior College's Veterinary Technician program   and am in the 3rd week of classes. Week two for large animal lab, we had to draw blood for the first time and give our first SubQ(below the skin) injection. We all were freaking out about it but we all were able to do it. We were allowed to take pictures of the goats we were working with and give them names. I'll post some pictures next week. I have a few pictures of Midnight to post but they will be the last. She was euthanized on March 23 at the age of 9 1/2. She got mostly treat-like

Sorry for not adding anything new lately. Last April I started working at a veterinary clinic and last term I was in the Veterinary Assistant Course at Harper College. In clinicals I did 115.5 hours instead of the required 60 for the course. I didn't want my internship to end:cry: I now am a certified veterinary assistant, one step closer to becoming a veterinary technician. Which pretty much means two years of having no life outside of school. I will be going to the Midwest Horse Fair in April and BreyerFest in July. Ah, Horse Heaven can't go wrong with that. School and work are still taking most of my time, but I'll try to check my messages
